Choosing a platform

Is GoldenPi or Wint Wealth part of Zerodha?

No. GoldenPi and Wint Wealth are separate companies with their own SEBI registrations; Zerodha's investment arm Rainmatter has invested in both, and GoldenPi describes Zerodha as a strategic business partner. GoldenPi also agreed in May 2026 to be acquired by Oxyzo Financial Services in a reported ₹42.4 crore share swap, which had not been confirmed as closed by 17th Oct 2026.

Verified

No. GoldenPi, Wint Wealth and Zerodha are 3 separate SEBI registered stock brokers. The link is investment: Zerodha's Rainmatter has put money into both platforms, and Zerodha staff have pointed users to them while Zerodha had no corporate bond product of its own.

What does Rainmatter's investment mean for me?

Less than people assume. GoldenPi's FAQ says "Zerodha and GoldenPi are strategic business partners" (GoldenPi), and Rainmatter took part in Wint's ₹250 crore Series B on 14th Jan 2026, led by Vertex Ventures (Entrackr). A minority investment does not make Zerodha responsible for either platform's bonds, prices or compliance; each answers to SEBI under its own registration. SEBI fined both platforms for settling trades off the exchange RFQ platform (Moneylife, SEBI order).

The confusion is common. On TradingQnA users ask whether both are backed by Zerodha or separate entities (TradingQnA), and one user reports that Zerodha support confirmed GoldenPi is separate (TradingQnA).

What is happening between GoldenPi and Oxyzo?

Oxyzo Financial Services, the lending arm of OfBusiness, announced on 19th May 2026 that it would acquire GoldenPi Technologies and its subsidiary GoldenPi Securities (Entrackr). Inc42 reports a share swap of about ₹42.4 crore, with Oxyzo shares going to the founders and Rainmatter (Inc42); Oxyzo's own post is dated 22nd May 2026 (Oxyzo). Completion had not been confirmed by 17th Oct 2026, and GoldenPi's llms.txt, updated 2nd Oct 2026, does not mention Oxyzo. GoldenPi Technologies also built and licensed the bond platform that IIFL Capital Services ran, which SEBI fined ₹2 lakh in Oct 2026 (Punjab Kesari).

Why did Zerodha send users to them?

Zerodha stopped corporate bonds on Coin in 2021, and on 11th Oct 2024 its staff pointed users to GoldenPi or Wint Wealth while it worked on bonds for Kite (TradingQnA). Wint once let users link a Zerodha demat; users report that from Oct 2024 it required its own demat instead (TradingQnA).
